Check out my Turkish Bazaar

Short and sweet, bed time.

15:00 minutes 35 lb turkish getups (19KG)
32 reps

my form started to break some on the last ones and i went slower to make sure i had very good form. for some reason the left getups are easier for me. i noticed that i need more hip and shoulder flexibility overall, just something I am noticing.

also did 10 wipers, but didn't have the right bar available, so stopped at 10

then did max bent over row. only 235 lbs :(

  1. Yo brohan! Good job on the workout, too bad you couldn't finish the floor vipers but good initiative to try to max out the standing rows. I bet you were a little drained in your back from the tgu's so that might have influenced your result in the row a little. Still, 235 lbs or 106 kg's in standing row is NOT BAD! I'm not even sure that I pull that much, so I'm quite impressed!

    You're getting strong, and fast!

  2. lol thanks. my body hurts everywhere today. i'm sleeping great, and eating okay. this coming sunday-wednesday we're going to Grand Marais, MN. There won't be any workout equipment there, but I am bringing some light kettlebells and will do lunges, prison lunges, box jumps etc. we're going to be doing lots of hiking as well, enjoying the fall colors.

  4. I haven't done this yet, I have an inflammation in my lower legs and work was too buzy to go and do any workout at all. I'll do these on saturday/sunday:

    "Cindy"
    As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes:
    5 pullups
    10 pushups
    15 squats

    plus
    1 RM powerclean (3 attempts at max).

    Next Workout:
    (first workup heavy squats)
    5x5RM squat.

    "Jackie":
    for time:
    1000m row
    50 x 20kg thrusters (empty bb)
    30 pullups.

  6. Nah, that's just for me dependant on how my legs recuperate. You do those two as soon as you can, one per day.
